As Curatrx of PAGE POETRY PALOR, Lee Ann Brown has been invited to round up some POETS to inhabit a artificially lawned performance space at a great big art show – The (UN) FAIR, a FREE offsite counter-program to THE ARMORY SHOW. The result is POETS ON GRASS.

“POETS ON GRASS: Come loafe and invite your soul to a stone cold poetry reading picnic – a midwinter astroturf lawn awaits new listeners to co-mingle as poets scribble, murmur and declaim their newest verses, some made right before your eyes.”

Located at 52nd Street and 10th Avenue, on the path to the Armory Show piers, The (Un)Fair is free and open to the public from 11am-8pm, Wednesday 3/5 through Sunday 3/9. POETS ON GRASS will be on site live in a lunch shift (11-2) and evening shift (5-8), daily. In between shifts poets voices may still be heard emanating mysteriously from picnic baskets…

Also join The (Un)Fair for nightly parties:

Opening Party: 3/5, 8-10pm Free
Benefit Party: 3/6, 8-10pm $20
Closing Party: 3/9, 8-10pm Free
